Health Care Regulation
The SNR Denton team offers legal counsel and
strategic policy analysis and insight into health care regulatory
developments, including the implementation of the US health care
reform law.
Our team comprises former high-ranking
officials from the federal government, authorities in health care
regulatory compliance and health policy professionals. Members
of this team specialize in federal health care programs, with
particular depth in Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D,
and fraud and abuse and corporate compliance.
The comprehensiveness and complexity of the
health care reform law and its implementation will require the
federal government to consider the views, experience and concerns
of all aspects of the health care community. Similarly, even
the most sophisticated health care organizations will require
counsel, insight, analysis and interpretation of governmental
actions in order to develop and execute business strategies that
respond to the new law’s opportunities and challenges.
The ongoing operation of the US health care
system will not wait for new programs and policies to take effect.
Federal and state agencies will operate under existing policies and
will enforce the current regulatory scheme.
Health plans, providers and clinicians will be
expected to comply with current and evolving health
policy. Agency oversight and enforcement actions will continue
and are expected to be increasingly stringent.
