John Woolley
Partner
John Woolley is a partner in the Energy Infrastructure and
Project Finance department with particular experience in the
projects, construction and operation and maintenance contracts.
John is experienced in dealing with a range of complex and high
value projects within the power and energy sectors. Recent work has
included advising REpower AG on negotiation of a suite of turbine
supply and operation and maintenance contracts for the supply of up
to £2 billion of wind turbines to a large UK energy supplier and
advising Thames Water on a £100 million outsourcing contract in
relation to its property assets.
John also regularly acts for EDF Energy on a range of projects
on the networks side of their business. For several years
John has worked on large PFI projects particularly in the health
and education sectors. PFI projects on which John has been engaged
include North Staffs hospital, Pembury hospital, Newcastle
Hospitals, Swindon Schools and Enfield and Newham Schools. John has
also acted for several years for private sector developer Primary
Plus on NHS LIFT Projects in Sandwell, Manchester, Derby,
Nottingham and Leicester.
