Andrew advises on the full spectrum of pensions-related issues,
ranging from setting up new schemes to terminating existing
arrangements. He is a leading lawyer in the field of restructuring
pension arrangements - closing schemes, modifying and introducing
new benefit structures and merging schemes. He has extensive
experience in advising on funding and security arrangements,
de-risking exercises (such as buy-outs and buy-ins) and scheme
investments.
Andrew is frequently involved with administration outsourcing,
governance and benefit audit projects. He also advises on the
pensions' aspects of mergers, acquisitions and corporate
restructurings and assists trustees and employers in dealing with
benefit disputes. He is a director of the firm's professional
trustee company.
Andrew's experience also extends to working on product
development and administration in the life assurance industry and
assisting Government departments with implementing pensions'
reforms. Clients include employers, financial institutions and the
trustees of some of UK's largest and most prominent schemes.
