Paul Jarvis
Partner
Paul joined the firm as a trainee lawyer in 1999 and qualified
into the firm's Asset Finance group in 2001. He became a partner in
January 2009. His experience includes a broad range of both
domestic and cross-border financings involving all types of assets,
with a particular bias towards ship and aircraft finance. He acts
for financiers, operators, export credit agencies and equity
investors involving a range of complex leasing structures, large
syndicated debt transactions and structured tax-based
financings.
Over the past few years Paul has represented a major German
airline and has advised it on a variety of complex financings and
structures. Paul also has significant Islamic finance expertise and
has worked on a number of innovative structures involving aircraft,
ships and real estate. He spent six months in the firm's Dubai
office and also spent some time on secondment at a major
international bank. He is currently based in the firm's Abu Dhabi
office.
