Paul Bugingo

Paul is a Partner and Co-Chairman of the firm's Africa Committee
(AFCOM), which formulates and implements the firm's strategy for
Africa. He was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the
firm's network of associate offices in Africa, currently in
Algeria, Angola, Burundi, Cape Verde, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Kenya,
Libya, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia,
Nigeria, Rwanda, São Tomé and Principe, South Africa, Tanzania,
Uganda and Zambia.
Paul joined the firm's Energy Infrastructure & Project
Finance department in 1998 and since then has advised Governments,
Utilities, Regulators and private companies on energy &
infrastructure projects across Africa, including in South Africa,
Botswana, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Rwanda, Lesotho and South
Sudan.
In May 2011 Paul was seconded from London to the Dubai office
where he will continue to further integrate our African
capabilities with our Middle East offices.
