Sustainability
SNR Denton is committed to serving our clients
in ways that minimize our impact on the environment. The
firm’s environmental policies are aimed at reducing consumption of
non-renewable natural resources and energy and striving on a
continual basis to meet and exceed best practices for energy and
natural resource conservation. We work with both employees
and vendors to encourage the efficient use of resources, locally
sourced food products, monitoring of energy and water consumption,
and recycling. Our London office was recognized for these
efforts with the City of London’s Clean City Platinum Award with
Special Commendation in 2009.
Efforts to introduce recycling and recycled
materials and supplies in our offices and to reduce emissions of
greenhouse gases and other pollutants include the following:
- Introduction of recycled paper
- Double-sided printing
- Recycling of food waste
- Enhancement of recycling facilities,
sharply cutting waste sent to landfills
- Use of 100 percent renewable energy
sources (green tariff) to power our London office
- Use of bicycle couriers
- Introduction of refillable water bottles
in meeting rooms
- Replacement of disposable cups with
reusable glasses and mugs
By continually reassessing our sustainability policies, SNR
Denton seeks to be a leader in the communities in which we work and
live.
